مراسم The Game Awards امشب در شهر لس آنجلس ایالات متحده آمریکا برگزار شد و در کنار معرفی بازی‌های مورد انتظار، به بازی‌های کاندید بخش‌های مختلف نیز جایزه تعلق گرفت. ما تمامی برندگان جوایز مراسم The Game Awards امسال که بیش از سه ساعت به طول انجامید را برای‌تان در این مقاله قرار داده‌ایم.
نامزدهای بخش بازی سال، بازی‌های Deathloop، It Takes Two، Metroid Dread، Psychonauts 2، Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apartو Resident Evil Village بودند. بازی Deathloop با نه نمایندگی در بخش‌های مختلف، از جمله بهترین کارگردانی، بهترین روایت و بهترین کارگردانی هنری، در وضعیت خوبی قرار گرفته و شانس بالایی برای بردن جایزه دارد.
پس از این بازی، اثر استدیوی Hazelight و کمپانی EA با نام It Takes Two، با پنج نامزدی در بخش‌های مختلف قرار دارد. بازی Psychonauts 2 از استدیوی Double Fine نیز با همین تعداد نامزدی پشت سر بازی Deathloop است.
کمپانی‌های Bethesda و Microsoft با دو عنوان Psychonauts 2 و Deathloop و جمعا 14 نامزدی، حضوری پررنگ در مراسم The Game Awards امسال دارند. اکس باکس و مایکروسافت با مجموع 20 نامزدی در بخش‌های مختلف جلوتر سایر کمپانی‌های بازی‌سازی قرار دارد. پس از آن Sony قرار داشته که در بخش‌های مختلف 11 بار نامزد شده و در رتبه‌های بعدی Square Enix و EA قرار دارند که هر یک 11 بار نامزد حوایز مختلف شده‌اند.
